We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a major industrial project in the Portsmouth area.

Working alongside the existing site management team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of site operations, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out site inductions for operatives and visitors
• Supporting the management of subcontractors on site
• Monitoring health and safety compliance and site standards
• Assisting with site inspections and quality checks
• Maintaining site records and documentation
• Coordinating deliveries and logistics
• Ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
• Supporting the Site Manager with general site administration and reporting

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar
• Experience on industrial, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or commercial construction projects
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a busy project team
