Children's Residential Support Worker
Warminster, £32,304 to £35,305 ( Inclusive of sleep in's )
Shifts: Long day shifts and sleep-ins required

Join our client’s dedicated team in Warminster as a Children’s Residential Support Worker and have a real impact supporting children and young people aged 8-18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Responsibilities:
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives, tailored to their age.
- Maintain a homely, welcoming environment within the residential home.
- Safely manage challenging behaviours using appropriate skills and techniques.
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
- Support the independence and overall well-being of residents.
- Keep the environment safe and develop individual care plans according to guidelines.
- Build positive relationships with staff, families, social workers, and professionals involved in the young people’s care.
- Assist with transport and outings, such as visits to theme parks and recreational activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (sleep allowance included).
- Over the age of 21.
- Ability to commute to Warminster.
- Experience working with children, young people, or in social care is desirable.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Children & Young People (desirable).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Children’s Residential Support Worker or in social/healthcare settings.
