Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team. Ideally you will have experience with Star sliding head lathes with Fanuc controls. In this role, you will operate and set up CNC lathes to produce precision components efficiently and accurately. Your mechanical knowledge, hands-on skills, and commitment to quality will drive the success of our production processes. Duties

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce components according to specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, and engineering instructions to ensure precise machining
• Conduct routine inspections of tools, tooling, and machine components to maintain optimal performance
• Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, or minor repairs of machinery and parts
• Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine settings, and quality checks
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC turning operations with experience in programming and setup
• Strong mechanical knowledge of machine tools, tooling, and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for interpreting design files
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes
• Knowledge of assembly procedures and plastics injection molding processes
• Understanding of safety protocols related to machining environments
