Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established construction business delivering high-quality build and refurbishment projects across the hospitality and leisure sectors. Based in Newcastle, this permanent role offers the chance to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion.

A respected contractor with a strong reputation for delivering refurbishment and new build schemes within the hospitality and leisure sectors. The business is known for its collaborative approach, quality workmanship, and long-standing client relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality, and health and safety standards are achieved. The role involves coordinating site teams and subcontractors, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from inception to handover.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction sector.
• Strong background in build and refurbishment projects.
• Experience delivering hospitality and leisure schemes is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety and construction best practice.
