Electrical Shift Engineer

Location: City of London
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking for a fantastic days-only role in the heart of the City of London? Working within a prestigious commercial building, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring the building's electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Fault find and repair electrical plant and equipment.
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, UPS systems, generators and associated building services equipment.
• Complete maintenance records accurately using the company's CAFM system.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and the wider engineering team to ensure a first-class service.

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience working within commercial building maintenance or a facilities management environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
