Health & Safety Co-ordinator (Temporary)

📅 Approx. 6 Weeks
⏰ Part-Time - 3 Days Per Week (Flexible)
💷 £13.00 - £17.00 per hour (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Health & Safety Co-ordinator to join a busy construction and fit-out contractor based in Blackpool.

This role would suit someone with previous experience within Health & Safety, SHEQ, or construction administration who is looking for a flexible part-time opportunity supporting live projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining Health & Safety documentation for construction projects.
• Producing RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, fire risk assessments and supporting compliance documents.
• Preparing site Health & Safety files ahead of project starts.
• Assisting with O&M manuals and collecting subcontractor certification.
• Managing subcontractor pre-qualification documentation and compliance records.
• Supporting permit applications and client portal submissions where required.
• Maintaining inspection records, trackers and Health & Safety logs.
• Liaising with site teams and operational staff regarding H&S requirements.
• Monitoring H&S communications and ensuring documentation is kept up to date.
• Supporting site and workshop Health & Safety inspections.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety, SHEQ or construction support role.
• Understanding of construction Health & Safety procedures and documentation.
• Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and confidence managing project records.
• NEBOSH qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
