Junior Account Manager – Full Training & Development

💰 £35,000 + Company Car

You don't need previous Account Management experience for this one.

If you're good with customers, commercially minded and feel ready to take the next step in your career, this could be a really good opportunity.

We're recruiting for an established business within the commercial catering sector who are looking for someone they can develop into an Account Manager.

You'll be given your own portfolio of customers and, with support from the wider team, learn how to manage and develop those relationships. You'll become the person customers come to when they need something – whether that's a quotation, an update, help resolving an issue or advice on the services available to them.

What you'll be doing

• Building relationships with existing customers.
• Managing day-to-day customer enquiries and requests.
• Preparing and following up quotations.
• Keeping customers updated and making sure actions are followed through.
• Working with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements.
• Learning about each customer's business and identifying where you can provide additional support.
• Developing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Resolving customer queries and making sure they receive a high level of service.
• Keeping account information and activity up to date.

Who could this suit?

You might currently work in customer service, internal sales, sales support, business development, hospitality, service coordination or another customer-facing role and be looking for an opportunity to progress.

We're more interested in finding someone who is:

• Confident and comfortable speaking with customers.
• Naturally good at building relationships.
• Organised and able to manage several things at once.
• Commercially minded.
• Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do.
• Keen to learn and develop.
• Comfortable working with different departments to get things done.

Previous experience within commercial catering, equipment, facilities, construction, hospitality or another B2B environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
