Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Suffolk (Stowmarket)
Salary: £53,500
Shifts: Panama Shifts (Days 0600-1800 Nights 1800-0600)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, 42 hours per week
Start: ASAP

A well-established manufacturing business is strengthening its engineering team in Stowmarket, and they're hiring a Maintenance Engineer to support production across a 24/7 operation.

This Maintenance Engineer position sits within a large site, and perfect for individuals who enjoy fault finding, improving equipment, and working on varied plant equipment as part of an everyday role

Key Responsibilities:

• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Supporting engineering improvements and modifications
• Breakdown response across production equipment
• Working as part of a shift team
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong multi-skilled background with an electrical bias.
• Experience in FMCG / manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PUWER, Electricity at Work, COSHH, and related regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
