Project Manager - Flooring (Commercial Projects)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and growing specialist contractor within the flooring sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects across commercial environments, working with a range of high-profile clients and delivering quality flooring solutions from pre-start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple flooring projects (carpet, vinyl, LVT, screed, resin, timber, etc.) from inception to handover
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and installers to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
• Liaise directly with clients, main contractors, and stakeholders
• Plan and coordinate programmes, labour, and material deliveries
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Carry out regular site visits and progress meetings
• Manage project documentation including RAMS, programmes, and reports
• Monitor costs, variations, and commercial performance alongside the commercial team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the flooring sector or wider fit-out/interiors environment
• Strong knowledge of flooring types, installation processes, and sequencing
• Experience managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
• SMSTS (or SSSTS as a minimum)
• CSCS Card
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Good commercial awareness and ability to manage variations
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience working on commercial fit-out, retail, healthcare or education projects
• Knowledge of subfloor preparation and screeding
• First Aid qualification
