Reporting Manager (all levels)

Our client is seeking Reporting Managers at all levels of experince to work within the Project Controls group focussing on the Sizewell C programme. The client is happy to talk about hybrid working and the role can be based in London or on site in Leiston (Suffolk).
Sizewell C (SZC) is one of the UK's most significant and transformative infrastructure programmes. At the heart of our success is the Project Controls function-a recognised Centre of Excellence. As our Reporting Manager for Reporting & Data Analytics, you will play a critical role in shaping how we capture, interpret, and communicate performance data across a complex megaproject environment.
This isn't just about managing spreadsheets; it's about pioneering a "Digital by Default" culture. You will lead the evolution of our performance reporting framework, ensuring that the insights delivered to executives, delivery teams, governance forums, and the Board are clear, consistent, and genuinely insight-driven. This is a unique opportunity to influence reporting standards across the entire SZC programme and set a new benchmark for the construction industry.
Drive the Reporting Framework: Manage and continuously improve the SZC Performance Reporting Framework, actively promoting its adoption across the organisation.
Champion Digital Innovation: Facilitate the delivery and advancement of 'Digital by Default' reporting and support the creation of a cutting-edge Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Framework.
Own the Month-End Cycle: Ensure the on-time delivery and flawless quality of all month-end performance reports, while agilely handling ad-hoc data requests.
Set the Standard: Establish best-practice guidance and templates, ensuring SZC is viewed as an industry exemplar for world-class project controls reporting.
Stakeholder Management: Partner with high-level stakeholders-including the MD's office, functional heads, and programme delivery teams-to gather feedback and continuously elevate report quality.
Lead and Mentor: Line-manage, support, and develop a small team of direct reports (1-3 individuals at peak).
Megaproject Track Record: Proven experience managing reporting solutions on Cloud platforms for large, complex infrastructure or construction projects.
Tech-Savvy: Strong awareness of modern reporting/analytics software and integrated project controls systems.
Executive Exposure: Experience supporting executive-level meetings and boards, ensuring high-quality narrative and data are submitted on time.
Leadership: Demonstrable experience successfully managing and developing direct reports.
Uncompromising Standards: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail regarding both data integrity and written commentary.
Delivery-Focused: Ability to prioritise heavy workloads, pivot under pressure, and smash deadlines without sacrificing quality.
People Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of a business.
