Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Ready for the move from Senior Civil Engineer to genuine leadership? This Nottingham opportunity offers something different: the chance to become a key figure within a small established Civils team, with a realistic route to taking wider responsibility for the discipline.

An established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who wants more than another project delivery role.

You will take responsibility for development infrastructure projects across drainage, SuDS and highways, working directly with clients while remaining hands-on technically. Just as importantly, there is genuine scope for the successful Senior Civil Engineer to take increasing responsibility for the Civils function as the role develops.

* Lead drainage, SuDS and highways design
* Deliver projects from planning through detailed design
* Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
* Manage project delivery and client relationships
* Coordinate with developers and multidisciplinary design teams
* Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers
* Help shape the continued development of the Civils team

* Strong UK development infrastructure consultancy experience
* Technical capability across drainage, SuDS and highways
* Experience managing projects and dealing directly with clients
* Comfortable taking responsibility within a small team
* Chartered or working towards Chartership would be advantageous

This is the opportunity to move beyond a conventional Senior Civil Engineer position and establish yourself as a future leader of the Civils business. The salary is £55,000 - £65,000, with scope for your responsibility and position to develop considerably as you prove yourself.
