Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer / Engineering Geologist

📍 Burton upon Trent | 💰 £37,000 – £45,000 DOE | Full Time

An established and growing geoenvironmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join its Burton upon Trent office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of geotechnical and contaminated land projects across the UK while progressing your career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Managing and supervising site investigations
• Producing geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports
• Completing GQRA assessments and foundation assessments
• Supervising remediation, validation, and earthworks projects
• Mentoring junior staff and attending client meetings

About You

Applicants should have:

• A degree in Earth Sciences or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ UK experience in contaminated land and geotechnical investigations
• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory guidance and British Standards
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A full UK Driving Licence

Experience with OpenGround, AutoCAD, QGIS, or coal mining investigations would be advantageous.
