As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Liverpool, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving IT systems within the life science industry. Your expertise will ensure the smooth running of critical infrastructure, supporting the organisation's technological needs effectively.

Description

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and oversee system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functional.
• Stay updated with advancements in technology relevant to the life science industry.

Profile

What we are looking for

• Strong experience in a senior infrastructure, cloud or technical lead role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware experience.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs and security.
• Experience leading infrastructure or cloud projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.

Job Offer

• Permanent position based in Liverpool.
• 5 days onsite in the office
• Salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
