We are working with a major UK infrastructure contractor who is looking for a Lead Process Engineer to support clean water projects on a long-term water sector framework in the East of England.
This role would suit an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in clean water, potable water, water treatment, pumping stations, dosing systems, hydraulics and control systems.
You will work closely with the project design team to develop safe, efficient and practical process engineering solutions in line with client and framework standards.
The Role:
As Lead Process Engineer, you will be involved in the design of clean water schemes including pumping stations, dosing packages, chemical dosing systems, control systems and associated process equipment.
Typical work will include process calculations, hydraulic assessments, pump calculations, capacity calculations, control valve sizing, water quality assessments, control philosophies, SCADA integration and commissioning support.
You will also contribute to process safety reviews including HAZOP, LOPA and DSEAR, ensuring safe design principles are considered throughout the design process.

Desirable:
CIWEM membership, professional body membership or relevant MSc - highly advantageous but not essential.
Experience on AMP water frameworks, particularly on joint venture partnerships or clean water infrastructure programmes.
Experience in design and build, contractor-side engineering or multidisciplinary infrastructure delivery.
