Location: Colchester (Office Based)
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 + Package
About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established and growing main contractor based in Colchester.
Working closely with the senior management team, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects valued up to £10 million across the education, retail, commercial, healthcare and community sectors. This office-based role includes regular site visits and offers the opportunity to play a key role in project planning, coordination and delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants while maintaining strong client relationships.
Oversee project programmes, documentation, procurement, resources and compliance with health and safety legislation.
Monitor project progress, resolve technical and operational issues, and attend client meetings and site visits.
About You
You'll have proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager working for a main contractor, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects. You'll be an organised leader with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of construction project delivery.
