Job Description:

Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project, overseeing construction activities including roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities and site teams.

• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.

• Oversee roads, drainage, utilities, excavations, earthworks, pipelines and civils.

• Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality requirements are followed.

• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.

• Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.

Requirements

• Previous Site Management experience on roads, drainage, utilities, water, wastewater or major civil engineering projects.

• SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.

• Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and CDM.

• Experience managing subcontractors and complex construction activities.

• Good understanding of highways, drainage and utility installation.

• Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.
