Solar Electrician
Midlands based - Nationwide travel
£50,000 - £60,000 + Company Van + Fuel + Annual Performance Bonus + Training on installs + Progression to management

Are you a qualified Electrician with experience in Solar PV or Battery Storage, looking to join a growing renewable energy company offering stability, excellent training and long-term progression to management?

Due to continued growth, the business is looking for a Solar Electrician to join their team and carry out remedial, fault-finding and some installation work across the UK.

You'll be responsible for working on Solar PV and battery storage systems, carrying out remedial work and fault finding, as well as installations and EV chargers. The role will involve travel across the UK, with occasional stays away from home.

The company is an established, award-winning renewable energy business with over 13 years of experience. They are MCS accredited, have a large customer base and strong levels of repeat business, with continued plans for growth across the country.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Solar PV and/or Battery Storage, with strong fault-finding and remedial skills. Installation experience is preferred, although candidates with strong remedial experience will also be considered with training available.

The Role

• Carrying out remedial work, fault finding and installations on Solar PV and battery systems
• Working on Tesla batteries, EV chargers and optimisers
• Travelling to sites across the UK
• Occasional 1-2 night stays away from home
• MCS and internal training provided

The Person

• NVQ Level 3
• 18th Edition
• Previous Solar PV and Battery Storage experience
• Strong fault-finding and remedial experience
• Installation experience preferred
• Full UK Driving License
• Happy to travel nationwide and stay away occasionally
