Technical Lead / Engineering Lead

London (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Perm

Up to £100k + 15% bonus

Overview:

We're looking for experienced engineering-led Tech Leads who have strong exposure to data engineering and enterprise data platforms, but these are not pure data candidates. Candidates should have experience with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, SQL and Python, alongside an understanding of on-premise lakehouse architectures, data architecture and enterprise systems.

As with all of our Tech Lead hires, we're looking for individuals with a strong engineering background who can demonstrate leadership, technical best practice (not just in data engineering!) and an understanding of the wider engineering landscape. We are particularly interested in candidates who are actively adopting AI within software engineering environments and are comfortable using AI tooling to improve delivery and productivity.

• Comfortable being hands-on in code when needed (e.g. CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes)

• Proven experience leading teams and mentoring engineers

• Clear, articulate communicator with strong stakeholder engagement

• Experience in end-to-end delivery, ideally within consulting or client-facing environments

• Security clearance eligibility (DV or SC advantageous)
