About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Transport Coordinator / Transport Planner to join the team.

This is a key operational and administrative role supporting the transport planning team, drivers and wider business to ensure jobs run smoothly, on time and to budget.

The role combines transport coordination, driver liaison, fleet compliance administration, ferry bookings, fuel card management and customs/import-export paperwork. It would suit someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure and can stay calm and organised in a fast-moving environment where plans can change at short notice.

The successful candidate will play an important part in keeping drivers supported, vehicles compliant and information flowing clearly between the planning, office, workshop and management teams.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful candidate will have:

Experience with tachograph systems, driver compliance, fuel cards, ferry bookings, customs paperwork, European transport, road freight or fleet compliance would be highly advantageous.

The Person

This role would suit someone who is reliable, approachable, organised and solutions-focused.

You will be comfortable dealing with drivers, supporting transport operations and keeping on top of important compliance and paperwork requirements. You will need to be calm under pressure, able to manage competing priorities and willing to adapt when plans change quickly.

A strong team ethic is essential. This is a business where everyone works together, so the successful candidate will be happy to get involved, support colleagues and take ownership of tasks through to completion.
