Business Development Manager

Bradford | £28,000–£35,000 + OTE

An exciting opportunity has become available with an established and growing IT solutions provider based in Bradford.

The business works with organisations across the UK, providing a broad range of IT products, services and solutions, including hardware, software, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, support and professional services.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious IT sales professional who enjoys hunting for new business, generating their own pipeline and closing deals. You will have access to a broad portfolio of IT solutions, allowing you to offer customers tailored technology solutions based on their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities
• Generate your own leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling and networking
• Build relationships with new customers and key decision makers
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
• Sell a broad range of IT hardware, software and services
• Understand customer requirements and identify suitable IT solutions
• Develop a strong sales pipeline and consistently generate new opportunities
• Achieve GP and revenue targets
• Upsell and cross-sell additional solutions to customers
• Work closely with internal technical and sales teams
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in IT sales, ideally within an MSP, VAR or reseller
• Proven track record of winning new business
• Confident cold caller and proactive business developer
• Comfortable managing the full sales cycle
• Experience selling IT hardware, software and/or services
• Commercially driven with a strong focus on GP and revenue
• Confident speaking with business owners, IT managers and senior decision makers
• Self-motivated, ambitious and target-driven
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• £28,000–£35,000 basic salary
• OTE + commission
