Job Description:

Are you a dedicated automotive sales professional seeking to advance your career? Our client, a reputable dealership group based in Southampton, Hampshire, is recruiting for a Car Sales Executive. This positions offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established dealership representing a renowned vehicle brand, encompassing both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) models.

As a Car Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their vehicle purchase experience, and building long-term relationships that foster loyalty. This role provides a structured sales environment with ongoing training, incentives, and career development prospects.

Benefits:

• Basic salary up to £25,000 with on-target earnings of £55,000+ and uncapped commission
• Company vehicle
• Full sales process training
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00 (regular day off in the week, one-hour lunch), Saturday 08:30 to 17:00, Sunday 10:00 to 16:00 (on a 1 in 3 rotation)
• 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, plus your birthday off

Duties as a Car Sales Executive:

• Meet and exceed monthly and annual vehicle sales targets and profitability goals
• Promote and sell vehicle warranties, GAP insurance, and finance options
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and develop a loyal customer base
• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all products, accessories, and key features
• Follow up with potential customers and prospect for new business opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities

Requirements:

• Proven sales experience or background in automotive sales preferred
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work within a regulated and process-driven environment
• Self-motivated with proactive follow-up of sales leads
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
