Nottingham / East Midlands (Hybrid Working)
£24,000 - £28,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses
Realistic OTE £60,000 - £80,000+

Our client is a fast-growing renewable energy business specialising in residential solar PV and battery storage installations across the East Midlands. Due to continued growth, they are seeking ambitious and customer-focused Sales Executives to join their expanding team. The Role
As a Residential Sales Executive, you will be responsible for converting customer enquiries into sales whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire journey.
This is a consultative sales role focused on educating customers, building trust, and delivering results—not high-pressure selling.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with homeowners and carry out site surveys (full training provided).
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar and battery solutions.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional and honest communication.
• Present proposals and confidently close sales opportunities.
• Manage your own diary, appointments, and sales pipeline effectively.
• Ensure a smooth handover to the operations team, providing clear information on customer expectations and agreed requirements.
• Maintain strong conversion rates while protecting company profitability.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience from enquiry through to installation.
• Contribute ideas to improve the customer journey and sales processes.

Skills and Experience
Essential:

• Previous experience in a sales and customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven.
• Professional and consultative approach to sales.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Experience within solar, renewable energy, construction, property, or home improvement sectors.
• A-Levels, degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Confidence appearing in video or digital content where required.
