We are working with a market leader who are experiencing significant growth. They have some exciting future growth plans and are looking to add a Health & Safety Coordinator to their team.

The Role
The Health & Safety Coordinator will will be working closely with the Group HSE Manager, who oversees strategic tasks like policy development, ISO audits and high-level compliance.
Your focus will be on a day-to-day operation, ensuring that safety protocols are followed on the shop floor and helping to drive continuous improvement across the business.
The role is a day shift position, working Monday- Friday (35 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- With the aid of the H&S Manager the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of Health, Safety are adhered to
- Alongside the H&S Manager they will also work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required
- Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc)
- Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits
- Offer guidance and support to the Site Manager and Operations Team
- Attend Monthly H&S meetings with the Site to gain knowledge of current issues affecting the production environment.
- Lead H&S meetings.
What We Are Looking For
The Health & Safety Coordinator will be an ambitious individual with excellent people skills and experience of working within the manufacturing industry.
Ideally you will be/have:
- NEBOSH National General certificate – essential
- NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable
- Any environmental qualifications – desirable
- IOSH Working Safely – desirable
- National Compliance and Risk Qualifications – desirable
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Effective organisational, time management and administration skills
- Risk Assessment Experience
- To be able problem solve and prioritise work load
- Confidence to deal with people at all levels
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Work under own initiative and be a good team player
