Job Description:

I am currently working with a Local Authority in the East Midlands, looking for an Interim Planning Manager to lead its Development Management, Planning Policy, and Minerals & Waste teams on an initial 6-month contract.
 
This is a strategic leadership role, managing three planning functions while working closely with senior leadership and elected members to drive performance and service delivery.
 
What they're looking for:
 

• Planning management experience within a Local Authority
• Strong Development Management and Policy background
• Experience leading planning teams and managing performance
• Minerals & Waste experience is desirable

 
Working arrangements:
 

• £700 per day
• Initial 6-month contract
• Flexible hybrid working
