Job Description:

NEW REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - REMOTE JOB IN SOUTH EAST

You will work from home, cover the South East and report to the UK Sales Manager. You will own and grow a portfolio of direct OEM accounts, and you will support sales through the business’s regional franchised distributors and global distribution partners. This is a strong opportunity for a regional sales professional who wants real ownership of a territory, backed by a global product portfolio and dedicated technical and marketing support.

Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager job in the South East

• Analysing the existing OEM customer base to find development opportunities, then building and running a pipeline to convert them.
• Working with the market business development managers and the marketing team to understand customer requirements, find growth opportunities and set local sales strategies.
• Building and keeping strong customer relationships through site visits, calls, email and joint visits with distribution partners, and supporting customers with marketing tools and new product introductions.
• Providing technical product support in close coordination with product management and engineering, and keeping the CRM system accurate and up to date.

Requirements of the Regional Sales Manager job in the South East

• Typically 5+ years’ experience in a commercial or sales role. Experience in the industrial component industry is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to present and negotiate at all levels, and a results-focused approach to managing a territory.
• The ability to work independently from home while being a collaborative member of a wider UK and international team, plus flexibility, curiosity and a creative approach to solving problems.
• Willingness to travel across the South East and excellent spoken and written English. A degree in Engineering, Economics or a related subject is preferred but not essential.
