Job Description:

Role: Sales Engineer Utilities

Location: Wakefield

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer Utilities to develop business across the UK, working closely with customers in a technical, field-based capacity.

This role suits someone with practical industry experience who is looking to move into a more commercial role while still using their technical knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

• Visiting customers on-site (contractors, utilities, merchants)
• Demonstrating equipment and advising on the right solutions
• Building relationships and growing accounts
• Identifying new opportunities and developing your territory
• Acting as the technical expert customer's trust

Skills and experience:

• Background as a fitter, technician, or engineer (pipelines, utilities, construction, mechanical, etc.)
• Good practical understanding of tools/equipment used on-site
• Strong communication skills - able to talk confidently with customers
• Ambition to move into a sales-focused role
• Full UK driving licence
