Job Description:

A secondary school in Halifax is seeking a proactive and organised School Administrator to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys supporting staff, students, and parents.
🕒 Working Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 7:45am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:45am - 2:00pm
• Term‑time only, until the end of the academic year

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Front‑office support - greeting visitors, managing calls, and providing a welcoming first point of contact
• Administrative coordination - maintaining records, supporting staff with documentation, and handling daily admin tasks
• Attendance and data entry - updating systems accurately and efficiently
• Communication support - liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies
• General office duties - filing, photocopying, scheduling, and supporting wider school operations

💻 Systems & Experience

• Experience using Arbor is desirable but not required.
• Strong IT skills and confidence with school databases are beneficial.
• Previous school‑based admin experience is helpful but not essential.

🔐 Compliance Requirements

• DBS on the Update Service is essential.
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to start immediately
