Job Description:

Location: Gloucester
Rate: £430 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Gloucester on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civil engineering scheme involving significant earthworks, drainage and roadworks packages. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of works on site.

• Setting out and surveying for earthworks, drainage and roadworks activities
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and project requirements
• Managing quality assurance documentation and as-built records
• Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress against programme
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and client representatives
• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site
• Supporting the delivery team in maintaining health, safety and environmental standards

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong background in earthworks, drainage and road construction
• Competent in setting out and surveying duties
• Valid CSCS card
• SSSTS desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment

• £430 per day (Inside IR35)
