Job Description:

Site Engineer

Glasgow

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Site Engineers to join a growing civil engineering and construction team delivering a range of infrastructure and groundworks projects across the Central Belt.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with at least 2 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a well-established and forward-thinking contractor.

More experienced or senior-level candidates will also be considered.

The role will involve supporting the successful delivery of projects on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
• Supporting site management with day-to-day project delivery
• Maintaining accurate site records and QA documentation
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team
• Promoting health & safety standards across site activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a setting out / site engineering role
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience using setting out equipment such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon
• Competent in surveying and setting out on live construction sites
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
