Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Managing temporary works procedures, designing or checking temporary works and simple permanent works, and liaising with designers and clients.
• Ensuring compliance with procedures, conducting hazard and risk reviews, and contributing to internal and external reporting.
• You will be involved in forums and other organisational initiatives, supporting a culture of safety and innovation.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

• Proven experience in temporary works design and management.
• Extensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and design processes.
• Membership of a recognised professional institution such as MICE.
• Ability to manage internal and external designers and deputise for the Principal Engineer.
• Knowledge of safety in design and change control procedures.
