Contracts Manager

Glasgow / Lanarkshire Salary: Negotiable + Bonus + Car / Car Allowance
Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in joinery, fit-out, or main contracting? This is an opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high‑quality commercial interiors across Scotland.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently oversee 4–6 live projects at any one time, typically ranging from £40k up to £2m, covering sectors such as:
Bars & restaurants
Retail
Offices
Hotels
Commercial refurb & fit-out
As Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects from pre‑start through to handover, ensuring delivery on programme, quality, cost, and client satisfaction. You’ll work closely with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to keep projects running smoothly and commercially sound.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing multiple fit-out projects concurrently
Overseeing site teams and ensuring smooth delivery
Client liaison and progress reporting
Programme management and resource planning
Ensuring quality standards and H&S compliance
Working with commercial teams on budgets and variations
Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
SMSTS is not essential — what matters is strong operational experience and a proven track record in the fit-out sector.
Background in joinery, fit-out, or main contracting
Experience managing multiple projects at once
Strong understanding of commercial interiors delivery
Confident communicator with clients and site teams
Ability to plan, prioritise, and drive projects forward
Experience in bars, restaurants, offices, hotels, or similar environments
