Hours:                  Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Early finish on Friday)

In this pivotal role, you will manage active commercial accounts and handle daily inbound sales and order enquiries. Working in a supportive team environment alongside warehouse and sales departments, you will ensure a seamless experience for trade and corporate clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Coordination: Managing day-to-day relationships with key corporate accounts, ensuring all orders and enquiries are processed efficiently.
• Order Processing: Accurately entering customer purchase orders into the internal database within required timeframes.
• Inbound Query Handling: Responding professionally and methodically to inbound telephone calls and emails regarding product specifications, stock levels, and order status.
• Proactive Solutions: Contacting customers to offer suitable product alternatives for out-of-stock items and resolving low-level product queries.
• Commercial Upselling: Identifying opportunities during customer interactions to introduce relevant promotional items and cross-sell complementary product lines.
• Cross-Department Liaison: Working closely with warehouse, dispatch, and sales teams to resolve delivery timelines or supply chain queries swiftly.
• Issue Resolution: Handling customer feedback or complaints in a helpful, calm, and solution-focused manner to maintain positive client relationships.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 12 months of experience in a fast-paced customer service, account management, or administrative support role is preferred.
• Communication Skills: A clear, polite, and confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with internal teams and external customers.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy levels when entering order details and processing account records.
• Technical Literacy: Good general IT skills, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and central CRM databases.
• Problem Solving: A good general standard of education with a methodical approach to solving operational queries.
